Rules for accessing and using the MOKUTA classifieds marketplace.

1. About the service

MOKUTA provides an online classifieds platform where users can browse listings and connect with other users. MOKUTA is not the seller of items advertised by users, and unless a specific feature expressly states otherwise, MOKUTA does not take ownership of listed goods, provide delivery, collect purchase prices, or guarantee a transaction between users.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be legally able to use the service under the laws that apply to you. You agree to provide accurate information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and promptly notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without permission. You are responsible for activity carried out through your account, subject to applicable law.

3. Listings and user responsibilities

You are responsible for the listings, images, descriptions, prices, location details, and other content you submit. You agree that your content will be accurate, lawful, and not misleading, and that you have the rights needed to publish it. You must not post content or offer goods or services that are illegal, stolen, counterfeit, fraudulent, unsafe, or otherwise prohibited by applicable law.

• Do not impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, ownership, or authority to sell.
• Do not post spam, fake listings, deceptive prices, malware, threats, or abusive content.
• Do not misuse another user's personal information or contact them unlawfully.
• Do not attempt to bypass platform safeguards, interfere with the service, or access accounts or data without authorization.
• Only upload photos, videos, and documents that you are entitled to share.

4. Transactions between users

Buyers and sellers are responsible for deciding whether to transact, verifying goods and claims, agreeing on price and payment method, and arranging collection or delivery directly with each other. Users should exercise caution, meet safely where appropriate, inspect items before paying, and avoid sharing passwords, verification codes, or unnecessary financial information.

MOKUTA does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, availability, or ownership of items listed by users, nor does it guarantee a user's identity or performance. Any verification badge or review is not a guarantee that a user or listing is risk-free. To the extent permitted by law, MOKUTA is not responsible for disputes or losses arising from user-to-user transactions.

5. Messaging, reports, and safety

MOKUTA may provide internal messaging, WhatsApp contact links, reporting tools, and verification features. You agree to use these features lawfully and respectfully. We may review reported content or relevant communications, restrict accounts, or cooperate with lawful requests when reasonably necessary to protect users and the service.

6. Featured ads and paid promotions

If MOKUTA offers paid featured listings or promotional placements, the applicable price, duration, eligibility, and terms will be shown when the promotion is requested. A promotion affects placement or visibility only as described and does not constitute an endorsement, verification of the item, or guarantee of a sale. Unless a specific checkout or feature expressly says otherwise, MOKUTA does not collect the underlying purchase price for transactions between buyers and sellers.

7. Content and permissions

You retain rights you have in the content you submit. You grant MOKUTA a non-exclusive permission to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and distribute that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, secure, and improve the service, subject to your settings and applicable law. You may remove content through available account features, but copies may remain temporarily in backups or records where needed for legal, security, or operational reasons.

8. Moderation and account restrictions

We may review, remove, decline, or limit listings and may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe an account or listing violates these terms, threatens safety, creates legal risk, or harms the service. Where appropriate and feasible, we may provide an explanation or a way to contact us about a decision.

9. Availability and changes

We aim to keep MOKUTA available and functioning, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Features may change, be suspended, or be discontinued. We may update these terms by posting a revised version on this page and updating the effective date. Continued use after updated terms take effect means you accept them to the extent permitted by law.

10. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MOKUTA disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, or disputes between users arising from their transactions. This section does not limit liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

11. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for claims and costs arising from your unlawful use of the service, your submitted content, or your violation of these terms or another person's rights. This clause does not apply to the extent a claim results from MOKUTA's own conduct where the law does not permit that responsibility to be shifted to you.

12. Privacy

Your use of MOKUTA is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how information may be handled.

13. Governing law and contact

These terms are subject to applicable law. Any governing-law or dispute-resolution provision should be finalized to reflect the legal entity operating MOKUTA and the laws applicable to it before publication.
